Veterinary Technology Scholarships

Oxbow Veterinary Technology - Exotic Animal Interest Scholarship. Veterinary technicians are essential team members in every veterinary practice. Oxbow understands the need for highly-trained and qualified veterinary technicians, especially in exotic animal medicine. Oxbow Animal Health will award two Veterinary Technology students who show a strong interest in pursuing a career in small and exotic animal medicine two $500 scholarships to pursue their dreams. NAVTA Scholarship – The National Association of Veterinary Technicians (NAVTA) Tuition for Vet Techs Scholarship was established in 2022 to help meet the increased need for credentialed veterinary technicians in the animal health profession. Boehringer has committed to funding the Tuition for Vet Techs Scholarship program through 2026. The Zoetis Foundation/AVMF Veterinary Technician Student Scholarship Program was developed to offset educational expenses related to attaining a veterinary education. Laurie Page-Peck Scholarship – The Laurie Page-Peck Scholarship was established by the Association of Zoo Veterinary Technicians. Each year, students who are pursuing careers in veterinary technology with an emphasis on zoo care receive $1,000 toward their tuition. Qualified applicants must submit transcripts and create a scientific essay to be read at the organization's annual conference.
