The Veterinary Technology Program recently conducted a pet food drive to benefit the Watauga Humane Society's Pet Food Pantry. The Appstate community readily gave to help area pets!
The Pet Food Pantry has been set up to assist Watauga County residents and exists on generous donations from the community. The Watauga Hunger and Health Coalition provides vouchers to people eligible to use the Pet Food pantry. Community members pick it up from the Humane Society for their pets.
If you are interested in donating to the Pet Food Pantry, but did not make it to a drop off location, consider:
Making an online donation directly to the WHS: wataugahumane.org/donate/doogies_hope.
Shopping online and shipping to the WHS: wataugahumane.org/wishlist.
