About
Sarah began working in the veterinary field in 1999. In 2002, she graduated with her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Ohio. Sarah worked in small animal medicine for 12 years, with a special interest in surgery and anesthesia, radiology, and client education. From there she spent 3 years working as a surgical technician in a specialty practice. After coming to a professional crossroad she transitioned to academia and has been teaching Veterinary Technology since 2012. Sarah then earned her Bachelor of Applied Administration and went on to grad school to earn a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Cincinnati.
Sarah loves veterinary medicine because there is always something to learn. She is passionate about patient care and advocacy and hopes that comes through in her teaching.
